31 August 2015 – International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is a global event held on August 31st each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have met with death or permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.

Recovery Walk Scotland 2015

On Saturday 19th September 2015 Recovery Walk Scotland will be assembling on Glasgow Green to walk the city centre route that will take us up High Street, through George Square and making our way back to the Green via Clyde Street.

Alcohol Awareness Week 17-23 November 2014

This year’s alcohol awareness week kicks off on Monday, November 17th with the aim of encouraging people to think about the impact of alcohol use in their community.

 

The theme for the week, which runs until Sunday 23rd, is ‘facing our alcohol problem: taking back our health and high streets’.
