Figure 8 Consultancy has recently been commissioned by the Argyll and Bute Alcohol and Drug Partnership to conduct a study to help develop a service user involvement framework and strategy.

Over the coming months we will be completing a range of pieces of work to help pull together a framework that will be fit for purpose (Literature Review, Case Studies and a mapping exercise). Critical to the success of this project is the engagement of local people across Argyll and Bute to help develop the framework. With this in mind we would like to extend an option invitation to one of four Consultation/Stakeholder Events that we will be running across Argyll and Bute. These events will be taking place as follows:

• Wednesday 27th April 1pm to 4pm – Corran Hall, Oban
• Thursday 28th April 930am to 1230pm – Inveraray Inn
• Tuesday 3rd May 1pm to 4pm – Activity Room 1, Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre
• Wednesday 4th May 930am-1230pm – Green Tree Room, Moat Centre, Rothesay

The project will ensure that best practice and thinking from elsewhere informs the local approach and to promote both challenge and scrutiny for the Argyll and Bute Alcohol and Drug Partnership. This event will provide you with an opportunity to input into the direction of this work at a very early stage.
